Cleaning Process:

Please remember, that no two jobs are exactly the same. The type of cleaning you need can vary, depending on the porosity of the surface as well as any sealer or cleaning agents that have been used in the past.

We have developed our process over years of experience detail cleaning tile, stone and grout.

We do not take a "one size fits all" approach and handle each job individually.

Estimate and Demonstration: in an inconspicuous area we show the cleaning power of our dry vapor process on your exact flooring material, shower or counter top. Once you see the dramatic "before and after" results we will schedule your appointment.

Preparation: we prepare not only the surface to be cleaned but the surrounding areas as well, including masking of cabinets, carpet, etc.

Generally, in the case of flooring, we begin with an initial removal of accumulated dirt, grease and sealer. A solution is applied, left to activate, followed by a mechanical scrubbing. The dirty waste water is removed using a wet vacuum. This process is repeated as necessary.

The next phase involves using a portable vapor machine giving special attention to detail of grout lines and any troublesome stains. We then follow with a "neutral rinse" which picks up any remaining haze and neutralizes the surface in prepartion for sealing.

The surface is then dried in prepartion for sealing.

We often provide better results WITHOUT harmful chemicals, which in turn prolongs the life of your stone, tile and grout.

Stone Cleaning:

There are a wide array of stone tiles available on the market. Many, such as travertine and limestone, contain natural holes that can trap dirt and soil. We have been very successful in paying special attention to these areas when appropriate. Exterior stone may have addtional issues because of moisture, UV rays and general weatherization. We take pains to restore your stone to its original condition, while offering protection as well.

Tile & Grout Cleaning:

Sealing Stone, Tile & Grout:

There are many types of sealants which can react differently depending on the surface. We work closely with the customer to provide the right application of proper sealer for their individual needs.

Most penetrating sealants do not alter the appearance of the surface, be it grout or stone. Enhancer sealants will provide deeper color in most porous stones. Surface or topcoat sealers also add color while giving a sheen or gloss to the stone's surface.
